This piece was printed in 1835 in a New York newspaper and is self-explanatory in the article.  I could not find any reference to this in anything I found on  Byron.

The newspaper is in my Byron collection, and  even though it  may  not  be  from the pen of Lord Byron, I am including it here as a note of interest to Byron's admirers to ponder over.   In my opinion, some of the spelling and phrases did not seem typical of Byron (although the subject matter is certainly something he would write about ) Since it was written in 1807 when he would have been  nineteen years old, it may possibly be one of his.
