Geoffrey Chaucer ( 1340 ? - 1400 ) is best known for his Canterbury Tales  which he began in  1387 and never finished.

To me, this poem of Chaucer's is timeless  . . . whether it is the 14th Century or the 21st Century . . . and no matter which country a person lives in,  it's still  easy to relate to by many of us.
